In my unit assessment last week, I spoke with David Callow about ways to work with/ photograph bland objects like toilet roll tubes to make them look spectacular, and more valuable. Today I came across these characters by Itchy Animation. In my opinion, they're a little bit epic!
In keeping with my "make new work" vibe, for the last few days i've been indulging my urge to draw by working on a new series of images (possibly to be used as prints, greetings cards, or as a zine). Here's a sneaky peak:
Her name is Mexican Mavis (Mave for short!)and she's based on the Boy and Bear song of the same name.
Architecture in Helsinki - Like It Or Not. the soundtrack to my work, and the vid is 100% applique! :) (I'm definitely memory-banking this little chestnut for the level 5 animation unit!)
